The School

The school, which was designed by George Diamantopoulos, was founded and built in 1927 on the island of Spetses, in Greece to "train future Greek leaders". It had the financial support of Sotirios Anargyros & Marinos Korgialeneios.
The complex included five main buildings, extensive sports facilities, the theatre, the Poseidonio Hotel (then probably the most elegant in the Balkans) and the Anargyros residence, all fine examples of turn- of -the- century classical architecture.
The school opened on October 1st, 1927 with four students, under the directorship of an Englishman named Eric Sloman.
The first students were:

Konstantinos Mpolas
Euagelos Savvopoulos
Georgios Stalios
In 1983, after more the half a century, the school closed.

During these 56 years hundred's of students graduated and now leave and work in various countries.
I want to come in contact with the Anargyrios alumni, to establish this site as a 'graduates virtual club'.
If any of you graduated or attended the school at any time just register and make your self known to the others.
